The worldwide largest railway fair InnoTrans 2016 took place successfully in Berlin, Germany. Nencki, the Swiss company, which is a leading supplier of bogie test stands, presented the latest concept for integrated bogie workshops on their exhibition stand.

Besides the information regarding the new generation of bogie test stands, the NBT Evolution, Nencki also demonstrated the damper testing machine Nencki NDT live. The testing of vertical and lateral stiffness in bogie direction was shown with the spring test press Nencki NST Light. Other visitors could watch the measuring of a bogie frame with a measuring arm in reality. With the Bogie Data Integration software, a final report of the tests from bogie and installed springs and dampers could be displayed. An animation movie of the integrated bogie workshops gave a first impression regarding the Nencki bogie assembly station, a new system which supports the dismantling and re-assembling of bogies.

At the end of the first exhibition day Nencki held the “Evolution Party” with a live band on their stand. Many customers visited the celebration of 10 years Nencki Railway Technology and the new bogie test stand NBT Evolution.
